Kazakhstan`s Atyrau Oil and Gas University delegation visits Baku State University

A delegation led by Professor Gulzada Shakulikova, Chairman of the Board - Rector of NJSC "Atyrau Oil and Gas University named after Safi Utebayev”, visited Baku State University.
During the meeting, Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that expanding cooperation with universities in Kazakhstan is a top priority for Baku State University, highlighting strong potential for joint research in chemistry and broader partnership with Azerbaijan in innovation and energy sciences.
Professor Gulzada Shakulikova emphasized the importance of further strengthening ties with Baku State University. She noted that the university she leads is one of Kazakhstan’s key specialized institutions training personnel for the energy sector. She particularly highlighted the importance of conducting research in petroleum engineering, chemistry, geology, and information technologies.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding cooperation in education and research and agreed to strengthen collaboration through joint projects, conferences, academic schools, publications, and exchange programs.
