LAW ON ENERGETICS TO BE AMENDED
Standing Commission on Natural Resources, Energy and Ecology held a sitting on 13 October to debate over the draft laws “On Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Energetics“ and “On Amendments and Supplements to the “Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offences.”
According to the alteration in the Law on Energetics, with the measurement instrumentation transferred to the supplier’s balance, the latter bears a responsibility for replacement, repair and operation of this instrumentation. This work is not paid as the expenditures are included in the energy tariffs.
Amendments to the “Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offences” imply criminal and administrative responsibility for lands allotments and construction of buildings in forbidden places.
The Commission decided to submit the bills for discussion to the Milli Majlis.
