MEETING AT SENATE OF ROMANIA

On 12 October, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev came to the Senate of Romania where Nicolae Vacaroiu, President of the Senate of Romania, and chairman of the House of Deputies of Parliament Valery Dornyanu, warmly welcomed him.

Then, President of Azerbaijan met the chairmen of both Houses of Romanian Parliament.

President Ilham Aliyev noted success of his visit, underlining, it would be a new phase in the relations between the countries.

Active cooperation of the governmental commission, and, in particular, of parliament was especially emphasized. It was noted that a group of friendship with Romania is functioning at the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan Parliament) and expansion of parliamentarian links in the coming years is necessary.

Also was underlined necessity of cooperation in law making field between Parliaments of the two countries.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made notes in the Senate’s Book of Honorary Guests.
