MEETINGS OF FIRST LADY MEHRIBAN ALIYEVA IN BUCHAREST
In the framework of the official visit of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev to Romania, First Lady Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva familiarized with Cotroceni National Museum, a monument of XVII century. Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva was narrated about the valuable exhibits reflecting the history and ethnography of the Romanian people. Household goods and art woks of different periods of the Romanian history arouse the guest’s keen interest.

On October 12, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva visited Tudor Vianu National College in Bucharest. She was told here about the local education system. The First Lady familiarized here with the College information center, classrooms and teaching process. The College leadership presented a memorable gift to Mrs. Aliyeva. For her part, she granted books about Azerbaijani culture to the College. Later in her interview to Roman-Press, Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva said she was impressed by cultural monuments in Bucharest and pleased with visiting the College.
