MEMBER OF CZECH PARLIAMENT MEETS WITH AZERI MPS
Member of the Chamber of Deputies Committee on science, education, culture, youth and sports of Czech Parliament Mr. Peter Plevan today has met with the members of the Standing Commissions for Science and Education and Culture of Milli Majlis (Parliament of Azerbaijan). Deputy Chairman of the MM Standing Commission for Science and Education Mr. Baxtiyar Aliyev told of achievements in the areas of education and science of the country. He underlined that over 200 schools were built in the country due to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation’s project “New school to renewed Azerbaijan”. Scientific centers to carry out the research studies were also opened in the country.
Mr. Plevan told of activity of the committee and the state of education in the Czech Republic. He underlined that his country is keen on cooperation with Azerbaijan in education area.

He noted that President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva pays special attention to development of the culture in the country.
Mr. Jafarov noted that there were created all conditions for religious confessions existing in the country. Azerbaijan is an example of tolerance in the world, said Mr. Jafarov.
Mr. Plevan highly valued the economic reforms of Azerbaijan.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.
