MEMBERS OF MILLI MAJLIS STANDING COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC POLICY MEET BAVARIAN MPs
Members of the Azerbaijan`s Milli Majlis Standing Commission on Economic Policy met Friday with the German delegation led by Chairman of the Commission for State Budget and Financial Issues of the Bavarian Parliament Manfred Ach.
Ziyad Samadzade, chairman of the Commission informed the delegation of the economic reforms carried out in Azerbaijan.
According to him, successful oil strategy helped to achieve rapid development in Azerbaijan`s oil and non-oil sectors.
Laws adopted by the Parliament have created opportunities for foreign investors to make investment in Azerbaijan. Today, Azerbaijan is considered a reliable business partner in the world. The World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Asian Development Bank do not hesitate to allocate loans to and makes investment in Azerbaijan, noted Z.Samadzade.
Mr. Samadzade invited German businessmen to invest in Azerbaijan, too.
The head of the delegation, for his part, said Bavaria is interested in establishing independent relations with Azerbaijan.
According to him, one of the main purposes of the visit is to conduct talks on economic cooperation.
He expressed his satisfaction with Azerbaijan`s dynamic economic development.
The sides also exchanged views on perspectives of Azerbaijan-Bavaria relations, organizing mutual visits and other issues.
