Moroccan universities among world`s best universities in rankings

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) listed four Moroccan universities in its 2021-22 Global 2000 list.
According to the CWUR, North African country occupies an excellent ranking at the African and Arab levels with 4 universities in the global rankings, namely Mohammed V University, Mohammed I University, Cadi Ayyad University and Hassan II University.
The CWUR ranking is based on four key indicators, including the quality of research, the number of publications in quality journals, and the number of highly cited publications, among others.
Harvard University is the first in the ranking, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, and Cambridge University.
University of Oxford is the fifth, followed by Princeton University, Columbia University, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.
