Mustafina does it her way to win all-around gold

Not even a couple of uncharacteristic sways could knock Russia's Aliya Mustafina off the top of the standings as she won the gold medal in the women's individual all-around final on Thursday.
In the closing rounds of the competition, the 20-year-old wavered on an aerial skill on the balance beam, then wobbled out of a pirouette during her otherwise poised floor exercise routine to 'My Way'.
Mustafina, who finished on 58.566 points, took her less-than-ideal winning performance in stride.
"Everything was done at a good level," she said. "However, I did not have big mistakes. I think my performance today was not bad."
Switzerland's Giulia Steingruber sprung into an early lead on the vault and delivered powerful routines on the other three apparatus for silver with 56.699 points.
Lieke Wevers of the Netherlands overtook Germany's Sophie Scheder with a confident floor exercise routine in the last rotation for bronze with 55.065 points.
Mustafina's victory at National Gymnastics Arena was her second gold of the Baku 2015 Games, after she helped Russia to team gold on Monday.
