The National Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations has held at the International press center a seminar-discussion on the theme “Stability of Public Sector: Realities and Possibilities”.

The event was attended by representatives of NGOs and public associations, as well as diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Azerbaijan..

Representative of the United States Agency for International Development on Azerbaijan James Goggin delivered the report on the role of the international donor organizations and agencies in sustainable development of the non-governmental organizations operating in Azerbaijan

The seminar participants also touched upon the NGOs’ involvement in entrepreneurship activities, joint activities of local executive bodies, municipalities and representatives of the public aimed at socio-economic development of provinces, and exchanged views on founding the “NGO Sector Assistance Fund”.
