Nosara is one of the world’s premier surf towns, a quaint, peaceful, multicultural community surrounded by wildlife and jungle. The town has a large and diverse expat community and is best known for its world-renowned yoga and incredible surf. Situated along its border is the Ostional Wildlife Refuge, the world’s largest olive ridley turtle nesting site and home of the two longest rivers in the country, Montana and Nosara, which are teeming with wildlife.
Hiking, boxing, horseback riding, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding are all common activities here. Visitors will also find an array of canopy tours and dance classes.
