Berlin, March 24, AZERTAC
An event marking Novruz holiday was held at the Azerbaijan House in the city of Stuttgart, Germany.
Addressing the event, Gunay Mirzayeva, Head of the Azerbaijan House and the Azerbaijan-Germany Cultural Center, Board Member of the Alliance of Azerbaijanis in Germany, congratulated the participants on the occasion of both Ramadan and Novruz holidays, conveying her best wishes to them.
The festive celebration featured a vibrant creative workshop held by Italian artist Francesco Maggio, sparking great interest among the youth.
Inspired by the “Pomegranate” exhibition showcased at the opening of the Azerbaijan House, the children utilized the workshop to express their creativity.
The workshop, held as part of the program, provided an excellent platform for students to interpret the symbolic essence of the pomegranate through their own unique lenses.
Then, tenth grade student Ayda Aliyeva delivered an interesting presentation on the Novruz holiday, providing insight into the history and traditions of the ancient holiday.
The event continued with festive celebrations, with participants performing ancient traditions such as national dances, including “Yallı,” as well as engaging in egg tapping contest.
