Official Minsk is for territorial integrity of Azerbaijan
Minsk, December 12 (AZERTAC). President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with members of the Club of Editors of CIS countries, the Baltic States and Georgia on 11 December.
The meeting was held within the 7th Forum of European and Asian Media.
The Belarus president answered questions of the forum participants.
Touching upon the conflicts in the post-soviet space, the Belarus president thanked Azerbaijan for its support provided in the difficult period for Belarus. “Azerbaijan is very supportive of us, Lukashenko said.
Lukashenko praised the level of personal relations with President Ilham Aliyev, noted the growing role of Azerbaijan in regional processes, emphasizing that between Azerbaijan and Belarus there is the most serious cooperation, which covers many areas of bilateral relations.
He also commented on the situation in the Karabakh peace process, urging Armenia to withdraw from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan by offering to leave the question of determining the status of Nagorno-Karabakh to better prospects, in order to ensure a stable and safe living of the population in the conflict region.
