ORGANIZATION OF WORLD SCOUT MOVEMENT INTERESTED IN COOPERATION WITH AZERBAIJAN
Murtuz Alaskarov, warmly welcoming visitors, has told, that for today in more than 200 countries of the world, the Organization has over 30 million members of Scout Movement founded in 1907 in the Great Britain. The Scout Movement in Azerbaijan has been founded in 1997, and in 2000 our country has become member of the World Organization of Scout Movement.
Chairman of Milli Majlis has noted, that the Republic pays special attention to this Organization. At the second forum of youth, the national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev has made recommendations to members of Scout Movement in Azerbaijan, and it is very pleasant, that the Organization justifies itself. As confirmation, the Speaker told of conference the Eurasian Regional Scout Committee held recently in Baku.
Then, the head of parliament has told about importance of care on the part of state and the government of each country about WOSM, functioning under the motto “Every day - charity”, and also further expansion of activity of this Organization.
Mr. Eduardo Missioni having thanked for warm reception, has expressed satisfaction with care, which the management of Republic shows for Scout Movement in Azerbaijan, has told, that such care should be an example for other countries. The visitor said that the management of the World Organization of Scout Movements is interested in cooperation in this area with our country.
