Regular sitting of the MM standing commission on issues of culture was held on August 27, correspondent of AzerTAj reported. At the sitting, discussed and estimated was activity of the commission during spring and extraordinary sessions of the Parliament and the plan of work for autumnal session and current questions.

Chairman of standing commission Anar Rzayev has noted value of the Order of the President of Azerbaijan dated January 12, 2004 “On realization of popular editions in the Azerbaijan language in Latin script”, and also has expressed concern with delay of printing of the products specified in the said document. He also has suggested deputies to submit for discussion the offers connected to creation of the “Museum of Martyrs”.

After discussion of several other proposals, the MPs adopted relevant decision on creation of working group on the suggested questions.
