A number of significant laws are to be adopted and conventions in the fall session of Parliament. Among the bills there is a long-expected law “On education” and “On public TV”.
Despite large discussion in the Milli Majlis, the said bill was not adopted yet. The experts of the Council of Europe have at least commented their positive opinions on the law of “Public TV”.
The fall session of Milli Majlis is expected to adopt the law.

Regular sitting of the standing commission on agrarian policy of the Milli Majlis was held on 31 August.
Discussed was the plan of activities of the standing commission for fall session and the bill “On modification in some legislative acts of Azerbaijan Republic and recognition of some acts as invalid”.
As was stated, the Commission will prepare and submit to the consideration of Milli Majlis a number of drafts: “On family economy”, “On veterinary”, etc. Also will be amended some codes and laws.
In discussions, present were the first deputy speaker of Milli Majlis Arif Rahimzadeh and head of the Parliament Administration Safa Mirzoyev.
