PARLIAMENT NEWS
At the sitting, as correspondent of AzerTAj informs, discussed were projects of agreements “On expansion of cooperation in power sector between the government of the Azerbaijan Republic and the government of Georgia”, and also “On coordination of activity of the railway transportation” and “On main principles of cooperation between the government of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Cabinet of Ukraine have in the field of oil-and-gas mechanical engineering”.
Taking into account, that all three documents completely are equitable to interests of Azerbaijan and create opportunities for development of the oil-and-gas industry, power and transport sector of our country, expansion of connections, the MPs have decided to submit the documents to discussion of Milli Majlis.

At the sitting of standing commission of Milli Majlis on September 7, on legal policy and questions of the state construction, focused were the drafts “On administrative execution”, “On introduction of amendments and changes into some legislative acts in connection with application of the law “On public service” and “On obligatory insurance upon fires”, “On approval of the agreement “On cooperation between the government of the Azerbaijan Republic and the government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the field of struggle against illegal circulation of narcotics, psychotropic substances and articles to them”.
Then, deputy chief of the department of the administrative and military legislation of MM Administration Mr. Sayad Karimov spoke of the bill “On administrative execution”. He has noted, that the said law establishes legal bases of the activity carried out by administrative bodies connected to acceptance, execution or cancellation of administrative acts. The deputies recommended bringing the documents to agenda of the Milli Majlis.

At the sitting of MM standing commission on the international relations and inter-parliamentary links, discussed were joint declarations of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Azerbaijan Republic and Ukraine, the joint communiquй of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev and the President of Georgia Michael Saakashvili, projects of some agreements signed by the government of the Azerbaijan Republic with the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and projects of a number of agreements signed by the government of Georgia, the government of Lithuania and the Cabinet of Ukraine. It was recommended to take out all documents for discussion of parliament.
