Chairman of Milli Majlis has dwelt on the links existing between our countries, highly having estimated activity of the ambassador in this field. “After gaining independence by Azerbaijan, due to efforts of our national leader Heydar Aliyev a new page has opened in development of our connections”, the Speaker has told.
Chairman Milli Majlis has in detail told about the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, highly having estimated the position of Germany on the said question. He has noted, that Germany repeatedly stated that recognizes territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and supports settlement of the conflict within the framework of territorial integrity of the Country. It has once again found the confirmation during the official visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Germany in August of the current year.
Mr. Alaskarov has especially emphasized, that negotiations carried out during the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Germany, the signed documents open new page between the two countries. Further, Chairman of Milli Majlis has with satisfaction stopped on inter-parliamentary connections, on the investment German businessmen put in economy of Azerbaijan, has wished the ambassador of successes in the further activity, expressing hope that the newly appointed ambassador of Germany would work also productively.
Ambassador Klaus Grewlich has noted, that the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev has invaluable merits in development of relations between the two countries. He has emphasized, that visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Germany once again proves, that “connections between our countries and will develop henceforth”.
Then, the ambassador has expressed to the Azerbaijan state, the government and people gratitude for the help rendered to him during diplomatic activity in our country, for cooperation.
At the meeting, also was held exchange of views on the questions representing mutual interest.
