PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES CHAIRMAN OF FRANCE-AZERBAIJAN FRIENDSHIP GROUP
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Tuesday Chairman of the France-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Jean-Louis Dumont, and his accompanying delegation.
The Head of State pointed out the visit of the French delegation is a good opportunity to learn more about Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani leader touched on the celebrations on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Parliament to be attended by the French delegation. The President said Azerbaijan had achieved great progress in all spheres. He expressed confidence that the Friendship Group would spare no efforts to expand cooperation.
Dumont said he had fruitful meetings here with economic, political and energy bodies. He stressed much work had been done here to develop democracy. Dumont highlighted the importance of the current visit to Azerbaijan.
