PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES ISESCO SECRETARY-GENERAL EKMELEDDIN IHSANOGLU
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Wednesday Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan`s first lady, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva for the well-organized Baku international forum “Expanding the Role of Women in Cross-Culture Dialogue”.
The ISESCO Secretary-General said holding such important events contributes to increasing women`s role in the inter-cultural dialogue and social life of countries.
President Ilham Aliyev said the fact Baku is hosting the international conference on women`s role in the inter-culture dialogue is a demonstration of respect on behalf of influential international organizations, such as UNESCO and ISESCO, towards Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani leader stressed such forums contribute to enhancing international cooperation.
