PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV VISITS AGDAM AND AGJABADI REGIONS

The President and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva started their trip by laying flowers at the monument to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in Quzanli settlement in Agdam.
After that, they attended a ceremony to open the Heydar Aliyev Museum.
The President viewed the museum and signed its guest book.
The Head of State then officially inaugurated the Olympic Sports Complex.
The President made a speech at the opening ceremony.
Other speakers included Governor of Agdam Hasan Sariyev and senior coach of the national Greco-Roman wrestling team Elchin Jafarov.
Afterwards, President Ilham Aliyev visited the frontline where he met with soldiers.
Later in the day, the Head of State moved on to Agjabadi.
Upon his arrival, President Ilham Aliyev laid flowers at the monument to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
He then attended a ceremony marking Agjabadi`s receiving natural gas, and made a speech there.
Other speakers were Governor of Agjabadi Shanin Mammadov, Chairman of Azerigas Alikhan Malikov and Agjabadi`s Aqsaqal (the old and wise of the community) Agil Muradov.
President Ilham Aliyev also opened the Heydar Aliyev Museum and a house building for Garabag war veterans.
