PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN RECEIVED CHAIRMAN OF RUSSIA’S CONSTITUTION COURT
Greeting the guest, Head of Azerbaijan State stated that the relations in the political, economic and other fields between Azerbaijan and Russia develop successfully and dynamically.
Noting that Azerbaijan and Russia are friendly countries, President Ilham Aliyev said that the once founded personal friendly relations between the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin have made great contributions in this cause.
Noting that that Mr. Vladimir Putin’s official visit to Azerbaijan was of great importance from the point of view of reinforcement of the relations between the two countries, President Ilham Aliyev also stressed the existence of good links between the present heads of state of Azerbaijan and Russia.
Reminding with great pleasure that successfully was realized cooperation among the numerous state structures, as well as between the court systems of the two states, head of Azerbaijan State underlined that the current visit of Mr. Valery Zorkin would be also significant from this standpoint.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia would develop and enhance in the years coming.
Expressing gratitude for sincere reception, Valery Zorkin stated that on the first day of his arrival in Baku he had visited the tomb of the national leader of Azerbaijan people Heydar Aliyev.
Noting that the relations between the two countries are successfully developing in all fields, Mr. Valery Zorkin stressed invaluable contributions of President Heydar Aliyev in today’s accomplishments of Azerbaijan. Foundation of the legal, democratic and secular state in Azerbaijan was laid just by Heydar Aliyev, Mr. Zorkin underlined, reminding the all-round reforms conducted under his guidance in the country.
The guest said that memory of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was always remembered in Russia with great respect and honor and President Ilham Aliyev is also greatly respected.
Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin conveyed sincere greetings of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Head of Azerbaijan State.
Mr. Valery Zorkin expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-Russian relations, including the mutually beneficial links between the Constitutional Courts of the two countries would further successfully develop.
President Ilham Aliyev thanked for greetings from President Vladimir Putin, asking to convey his greetings and deep considerations to the President of the Russian Federation.
Chairman of the Constitution Court of Azerbaijan Republic Farhad Abdullayev, head of the law enforcement management department of President Administration Fuad Alaskarov, charge- d’affaire of the Russian Federation in Azerbaijan Peter Burdikin attended the reception.
