Dear Mr. President,

I cordially congratulate You on the 10th anniversary of conclusion of the contract occasionally marked today in Your country on operation of oil deposits of "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli”.

I feel satisfaction and pride from successful realization within 10 years of this project named the “Contract of the century”, including from participation of the Japanese companies in the said project.

The big pipeline, which the next year will pass from Azerbaijan to Turkey, to Mediterranean Sea, will be of great significance for Azerbaijan.

I wish the efforts, both yours, and our, other countries, directed on operation of natural resources as a result of mutually advantageous cooperation, were the important step for establishment of peace and tranquility in the Caucasian region.

Unfortunately, this time I cannot take part in action organized by You, I wish successful carrying out of ceremony.

I wish You and henceforth robust health, successes in your affairs, and to your people – peace and well-being.
