Our two countries have accomplished much together in recent years: cooperating in the global war on terror, making peace in Iraq, building an East-West export corridor for Caspian energy exports, and economic development in Azerbaijan. As we mark this milestone in Azerbaijan’s history, I look forward to continued close relations between our countries.
I welcome your call for multi-party political dialogue and reconciliation in Azerbaijan. I wish you and all of Azerbaijan’s political leaders success in advancing your vision of an increasingly democratic, prosperous, and peaceful country.
