On October 15, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili made a telephone call to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.

The Georgian leader congratulated Ilham Aliyev on winning presidential election according to preliminary results of the voting, and wished him successes in his further activities.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude to the Georgian counterpart for his congratulations.
