On October 16, Tajikistan`s President Emomali Rahmon made a telephone call to Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev.

The Tajik leader congratulated Ilham Aliyev on winning the presidential race with the majority of votes, and wished him successes in his further activities.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to Emomali Rahmon for his congratulations.
