A regional public meeting within the frameworks of the “State Program on Poverty Reduction and Economic Development” has taken place in Gala hotel of Lankaran.

The two-day program implemented by the humanitarian organization Umid and financed by the United States Agency for International Development was attended by representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations of the south region, municipalities etc.

On the first day, the participants were informed of the “State Program on Poverty Reduction and Economic Development”.

On the second day, people gave their proposals on the program.

Later on, meeting participants heard the report of the secretariat and representatives of donor and international organizations.
