REGULAR SITTING OF CЭS ECONOMIC COUNCIL HELD IN MOSCOW
The first vice-premier Abbas Abbasov represents the Azerbaijan Republic.
As chairman of executive committee - the executive secretary of the CIS Vladimir Rushailo informed at sitting of the Economic Council, one of paramount tasks of the CIS should become creation of favorable investment climate, activation of process of creation of free trade zones, transport space and other mechanisms promoting economic development of the states of Commonwealth and their deeper integration.
During sitting, before the forthcoming meeting of heads of the CIS states which will pass on September 15-16 in Astana, questions on the course of performance of decisions of Economic Council of the CIS, about common budget of the CIS states, about creation of favorable conditions for expansion of leasing activity, questions of military - technical cooperation, and also a number of other questions concerning improvement of trade and economic activity of the states of Commonwealth have been considered.
The executive committee of the CIS has planned in the beginning of 2005 to hold a large-scale investment forum “Investments and innovations” with the purpose to reach mutual understanding in questions of creation of financial council of the CIS, the leasing company and thus to achieve creation of the ramified structure of the commercial organizations.
