SEMINAR ON “RULES OF ETHIC BEHAVIOR OF STATE EMPLOYEES” HELD
In the framework of “Support for Azerbaijan’s strategy on fighting corruption” project, jointly being realized by the Commission of the Azerbaijan Republic on combat against corruption and the European Union, on 31 January, was conducted a seminar on the topic “Rules of ethic behavior of state employees” . The workshop oriented to the heads of departments and staff structures of state bodies, was organized by the Council of Europe and one of the beneficiaries of the said project - the Commission on questions of state service under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the seminar, speaking was special envoy of the COE Secretary General Denis Bribosia, head of the Commission on questions of state service under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Bahram Khalilov. Then, employees of the Commission gave detailed information on issues concerning the Law of Azerbaijan Republic “On rules of ethic behavior of state employees” and its implementation, while the expert of the Council of Europe Quentin Rid - on international practice in the said field. After presentation, widely discussed were issues related to trainings of state employees.
MOU on realization of the project “Support for Azerbaijan’s strategy on fighting corruption” was signed in December 2007 between the Commission of the Azerbaijan republic on combat against corruption and the European Union. The Project is to be implemented during two years.
