SESSION OF CIS INTERNAL MINISTERS COUNCIL HELD IN KIEV
Minister of internal affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic, colonel-general Ramil Usubov takes part at the session.
Addressing the session, minister of internal affairs of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov spoke of cooperation with the CIS colleagues in the cause of combat against international terrorism, criminality, illegal circulation of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
Then, Ramil Usubov laid flowers on the monument of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev erected in the square before the embassy of Azerbaijan in Kiev.

On 30 September, the session of Council of internal ministers of CIS countries ended.
The same day, President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma received heads of the delegations.Ukraine’s President stressed urgency of joint activity of the CIS countries on prevention global threats, in particular, the international terrorism. He also underlined important role of the Council of internal ministers in the field of ensuring law and order in the states of Commonwealth.
In the course of meetings, also were discussed ways of improvement of interaction among the CIS countries in the field of combat against criminality. President Leonid Kuchma supported the initiative on creation of Eurasia Group on prevention and localization of criminal incomes and financing terrorism.
