SITTING OF COLLEGIUM HELD AT EDUCATION MINISTRY
Addressing the sitting attended by heads of Universities, chiefs of education organizations, famous workers of education Minister Misir Mardanov stressed the significance of the presidential decrees in developing the education system of Azerbaijan.
The Minister said that the documents stipulates that classes in all the education institutions will begin September 15 and informs of the switch to 5-day week in the secondary schools and provision the schools with information and communication technologies. Mr. M. Mardanov reminded that as a result of implementation of the program on provision of the schools of general education with information and communication technologies every 33 students will be provided with one computer. For 3 years ahead, 10 thousand people will get jobs. The Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov stressed the state’s care about education in Azerbaijan and Presidential decrees that will have a positive effect on development of information and communication technologies in Azerbaijan.
