SOCAR President meets with Uzbekistan's Energy Minister

Baku, July 3, AZERTAC

Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), met with Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Uzbekistan's Energy Minister, and Bakhodirjon Sidikov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz.

The meeting praised the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan across all sectors.

The sides also lauded the close cooperation between SOCAR and Uzbekneftegaz, highlighting their effective collaboration both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks.

The parties discussed other key issues on the agenda. Notably, they reached pivotal agreements regarding the geological exploration project in Uzbekistan’s Ustyurt region as part of their ongoing cooperation.
