TAJIKISTAN: FORMER COMMANDER OF PRESIDENTIAL GUARDS ACCUSED IN MURDER

As the correspondent of AzerTAj informs, in Tajikistan the former commander of Presidential guards - general Gaffor Mirzoyev has been accused of murder of the high-ranking officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and the head of region Shahrin. G. Mirzoyev was considered guilty and in murder of Suleyman Cholov - brother of one of the known field commanders.

According to the information distributed by the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Tajikistan, G. Mirzoyev is accused also for large financial frauds and embezzlement of public funds.

It is stated that a Moscow attorney has arrived for G. Mirzoyev's protection.
