TRIP OF THE AMBASSADOR OF AZERBAIJAN FRUITFUL
In the province Sharg, ambassador E. Arasly has met the president of the oil company «SAUDI ARAMCO», Abdullah Jumah and the vice-president of Commercial and Industrial chamber of this region Khalid Bovardi and also the secretary general of chamber Ibrahim Al-Olayan. At the meeting with the president of the oil company, discussed was the question of creation of working group between two countries in the field of development of hydro-carbonic resources. The president of the Company was handed invitation to participate at the forthcoming June 1-4 this year 11th International exhibition - Conference «Khazar-oil, gas, oil refining and petrochemical - 2004».
During the meeting in Commercial and industrial chamber, has been submitted a number of investment projects and stated the request for distribution of the said projects among the companies of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In the Kingdom of Bahrain, ambassador E. Arasly has carried out meetings with the state minister on foreign affairs of this country Mohammed Abdel Gafar, minister of work and social questions Мajid Al-Alavi, minister of information Nabil Al-Khamer, the secretary general of Commercial and Industrial Chamber Abdul-Rahim Nagi. The Ambassador has presented the state minister on foreign affairs the project «Report on cooperation between the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain». The state minister of Bahrain has noted, that he attaches great importance to the report on cooperation between the Ministries for Foreign Affairs of two countries, has declared, that will shortly transfer the Azerbaijan side the opinions and offers concerning the given document.
With ministers of work and social questions and information, useful conversation about expansion of cooperation between our countries has been carried out. At the meeting, wide discussions concerning questions of work and migration, carrying out in Bahrain of the Days of the Azerbaijan culture, exchange of data of advertising character about social and economic life of our republic, expansion of links in the sphere of tourism have been carried out.
The basic theme of the meeting, which has been held with the secretary general of Commercial and Industrial Chamber, was expansion of links between businessmen of two countries. The secretary general of Chamber has suggested carrying out the next commercial and industrial exhibition of the countries of Persian Gulf in first half of 2005 in Azerbaijan.
