Turkey`s Radikal newspaper features article on 20 January tragedy

Ankara, January 20 (AZERTAC). The website of the Turkey`s Radical newspaper posted an article on 20 January tragedy by AZERTAC`s reporter Ogtay Bayramov.

The article entitled Bloody Baku Tragedy: Symbol of Independence of Azerbaijani People noted that the 20 January massacre was one of the acts of vandalism committed by Armenians and Russian regimes for centuries in Azerbaijan and Turkey. Under pretext of protecting Armenians, the regime led by Mikhail Gorbachov cracked down on people rallied to protect the Azerbaijani land of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The author highlighted national leader Heydar Aliyev`s protest at the permanent representation of Azerbaijan over military crimes committed by the soviet regime in Baku.
