TURKISH AND AZERBAIJANI COMMUNITIES IN CANADA HOLD MEETING AGAINST ARMENIAN TERROR
Turkish and Azerbaijani communities in Canada held a meeting in Ottawa to commemorate the 25th anniversary of murder of military attache of Turkish embassy Atilla Altikat by Armenian terrorists.
Altikat was assassinated in Ottawa in 1982 by an Armenian terrorist group.
The meeting was attended by members of the Turkish and Azerbaijani communities in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal, as well as by representatives of Canadian parliament and local mass media.
The meeting participants expressed their regret that Canada has recognized the fabricated “Armenian genocide”.
Representative of Azerbaijani community in Ottawa Yashar Mughan called Atilla Altikat one of the victims of Armenian terrorists acting in Canada and other countries across the world.
He said that today Armenians continue their aggression against Azerbaijanis, which resulted in the occupation of 20% of the Azerbaijani territory, and left over 1 million Azerbaijani refugees.
Mughan recalled all terror acts that Armenians committed in Azerbaijan, including metro and railway blasts and Khojaly Tragedy.
He urged Canadian politicians to condemn Armenia, which he said supports terrorism on a governmental level.
