Turkish National Defense University delegation visits Nakhchivan

A delegation from the National Defense University of the Republic of Türkiye, led by Vice Rector Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş, paid a visit to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
The delegation first visited the monument to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, in the central square of Nakhchivan city, where its members paid profound respect to his memory.
The guests then visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum, where they viewed exhibits reflecting the life and legacy of the National Leader and were briefed on his outstanding contribution to state-building and the country's rich political heritage.
The delegation also visited the monument to the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, in Nakhchivan city, where they honored his memory.
As part of the visit, the delegation was received at the Headquarters of the Combined Arms Army (CAA). The Commander of the CAA, Lieutenant General Kanan Seyidov, met with the head of the delegation, Lieutenant General Burhan Aktaş. In accordance with official protocol, the distinguished guest signed the Book of Honor.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation in the field of military education. They also discussed future initiatives in this area, along with a number of other issues of mutual interest.
The delegation was briefed on the activities and operational capabilities of the Combat Control Center of the Combined Arms Army.
At the Training and Educational Center, the guests toured various classrooms, the simulation center, and the training simulator hall.
The visit concluded with tours of Nakhchivan's historical and cultural landmarks.
