UKRAINIAN AMBASSADOR TO AZERBAIJAN PRESENTS HIS CREDENTIAL
The newly appointed ambassador of Ukraine Boris Klimchuk presented his credential to the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, May 12.
Noting good level of bilateral relations, the parties stressed that the reciprocal visits of the heads of state and other official of both countries deepened cooperation between the two countries.
In meeting, discussed was also the preparation for the forthcoming energy summit in Kiev, the documents to be signed during President Aliyev’s visit to Ukraine, agenda of the 8th meeting of inter-governmental commission, opportunities to increase commodity turnover, cooperation within GUAM, energy projects, the project of transport corridor to link the Caspian, Black Sea and the Baltic and other questions.
Boris Klimchuk expressed gratitude for erection of the monument of Taras Shevchenko, Ukrainian poet in the capital of Azerbaijan.
