UKRAINIAN DELEGATION VISITED THE TOMB OF HEYDAR ALIYEV AND ALLEY OF MARTYRS
Chairman of the State Customs Service of Ukraine has assigned wreaths to the tomb of the founder of the independent Azerbaijan state, the wise head of our people, our national leader Heydar Aliyev and to the memorial complex “Eternal Fire” on Alley of Shehids.
Nikolay Kalensky prayed the Almighty to rest soul of the world famous statesman Heydar Aliyev having invaluable merits in establishment and successful development of friendship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, and ours martyrs.

COOPERATION OF CUSTOMS OFFICERS OF AZERBAIJAN AND UKRAINE EXTENDS
As correspondent of AzerTAj reported, on September 6, chairman of the State Customs Committee, colonel-general of customs service Kamaladdin Heydarov has met chairman of the State Customs Service of Ukraine Nikolay Kalensky.
Having emphasized, that present visit would be useful to the further development of fruitful cooperation between customs services of our countries, Mr. Heydarov has noted, that prompt development of the Ukrainian - Azerbaijan cooperation is clear in all areas, that the basis of friendship between our peoples has been founded by our national leader Heydar Aliyev. Having thanked the Ukrainian state for erection in Kiev of the monuments to our national leader Heydar Aliyev and the outstanding scientist - ophthalmologist academician Zarifa Khanum Aliyeva, he has reminded that last years close cooperation between customs bodies of our countries, having received the further development, has entered a new stage, as a bright example for that a number of the important bilateral documents signed between our states serves in the field of customs affair.
Chairman of the State Customs Committee has noted value of the document in the customs sphere, President Ilham Aliyev signed during the state visit to Ukraine in June of this year, cooperation in the field of development of customs affairs in frameworks of GUUAM, simplification of customs rules, on the concrete facts has shown annual growth of the foreign trade connections between our countries.
Nikolay Kalensky, having emphasized, that shares opinion of his Azerbaijan colleagues, has noted, that the meetings which have been carried out in Kiev and Baku, would promote further development of existing cooperation, work of customs structures of two countries in close connection according to interests of our states. The visitor has told: “The purpose of the customs organizations of Azerbaijan and Ukraine consists in rendering assistance to growth of commodity circulation, registration of cargoes in the shortest terms, carrying out of serious struggle against smuggling, the prevention of attempts of infringement of the law at customs registration. It is necessary for all of us, having united efforts to combat smuggling, the forces trying illegally to bring the weapon, narcotics and so forth.
At the meeting, it has been marked, that on September 7, in Baku, it will be signed the Agreement “On cooperation in the field of professional training and improvement of professional skill of the staff between the State Customs Service of Ukraine and the State Customs Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic”.

Chairman of the State Customs Service of Ukraine Nikolay Kalensky with the purpose of acquaintance has visited the Baku Regional Educational Center of the World Customs Organization, the Cynology Center of the State Customs Committee, the Main Customs Department of Baku.
