UNESCO ORGANIZES PHOTO EXPOSITION OF GOBUSTAN ROCK CARVINGS

The photo exposition of Gobustan rock carvings has been conducted in Paris at one of the UNESCO show-halls.

The exposition includes 55 photos by Farid Mammadov.

Opening the ceremony UNESCO deputy director general for foreing affairs Stan Cole noted that these carvings are very precious. He stated that Azerbaijan made an invaluable contrition to the history of humanity.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France Eleonora Huseynova expressed gratitude to UNESCO for facilitating the exhibition.

The ceremony was attended by ambassadors accredited in France, UNESCO executives, members of Azerbaijani Diaspora and students studying in Paris. They were given booklets on Gobustan and picture cards.
