UZBEK PRESIDENT CONGRATULATES ILHAM ALIYEV ON ELECTION AS PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov sent a congratulatory message to his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on his election for a second consecutive term.
The message reads: “Uzbek and Azeri people have been together both in the years of hardship and in the days of hope. I am convinced that it will always be so.
Uzbekistan will continue to support Azerbaijan`s deliberate course towards ensuring its territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as political and economic reforms being realized in the country under your leadership.”
The Uzbek President wished Ilham Aliyev robust health, happiness and every success.
