The VII conference of the International Ombudsman Institute is to be held in the city of Quebec, Canada, 7-10 September. President of the International Ombudsman Institute and the Ombudsman of the Quebec province have invited the Ombudswoman of Azerbaijan Ms. Elmira Suleymanova to this Conference.

The goal of the Conference, as was stated at the office of Azerbaijan Ombudsman, is to develop cooperation in the field of protection and ensuring human rights, conduct exchange of views and experience, improve activity of ombudsmen in the mentioned field, AzerTAj correspondent reports.

Azerbaijan Ombudswoman Elmira Suleymanova will make a report on the topic “Activity of the newly established institution of Ombudsman in the independent Republic of Azerbaijan”.
