VII EURASIAN ECONOMIC SUMMIT LAUNCHES IN ISTANBUL
The forum participants saw the documentary film about the activities of the VAGF Marmara group and previous European economic summits. The fragment of the film dedicated to the national leader of Azerbaijan, great son of the Turkish world, honorary Chairman of VAGF, Heydar Aliyev arose the great interest of the spectators. Welcoming the summit participants, Chairman of VAGF Marmara group, professor Akkan Suver dwelt on regional and international significance of this authoritative forum.
The participants then heard the letter of the congratulations from President of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer.
Head of Azerbaijan delegation, head of the Socio-political department of President’s Administration Ali Hasanov read out the letter of congratulation of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev.
The ninth President of Turkey Suleyman Demirel, ex-President of Bulgaria Zhelie Zhelev, Minister for Energy and Natural resources of Turkey Hilmi Guler, heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, economic and public organizations of friendly and fraternal country and many others made speeches at the forum.
