WELCOMING AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN BUCHAREST
In honor of the Azerbaijan President, a Guard of Honor was lined up at the Henri Coanda International Airport decorated by national flags of the two countries.
At the aircraft’s ladder, President Ilham Aliyev was warmly welcomed by Minister of Economy and Trade of Romania Ioan-Dan Popescu and his spouse Yelena Popescu, Adviser to the country’s President Dmitri Khonchu, top-ranking government officials, Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Bucharest Eldar Hasanov, the embassy officials, Ambassador of Romania in Baku Nicolae Ureke and representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were presented a bouquet of flowers. Commander of the Guard of Honor reported to the Azerbaijani leader.
From the Airport, President of Azerbaijan accompanied by honorable cortege of motorcyclists, arrived at his temporary residence “Vila Lak-1.”
