WELCOMING CEREMONY AT PRESIDENTIAL PALACE
A Guard of Honor was lined up in front of the Palace decorated by national flags of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria. Commander of the Guard of Honor reported to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The Head of State warmly greeted the Bulgarian President. The Commander of the Guard of Honor reported to President of Bulgaria, as well.
The Azerbaijan Defense Ministry’s orchestra performed national anthems of Bulgaria and Azerbaijan.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Georgi Parvanov passed along the Guard of Honor. The Bulgarian leader greeted the Azerbaijani soldiers.
Government officials of Azerbaijan were introduced to President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov, and members of the Bulgarian delegation to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
