The well-known Turkish businessmen, Chairman of the board of “Sabanji Holding” Group of Companies Sakip Sabanji died in American hospital of Istanbul, AzerTAj correspondent reports.

He was born in Kayseri city, on April 7, 1933. He made a lot for strengthening of “Sabanji Holding” Group of Companies, as well as played an important role in development of Turkish economy and industry. “Sabanji Holding” is one of the corner stones of Turkish economy, industry and commerce.

Sakip Sabanji was repeatedly awarded with the higher state rewards of Turkey, as well as Honorary Doctor titles of 11 Universities.
