WORLD CONGRESS OF NEWS AGENCIES PASSES IN MOSCOW
115 leading news agencies from 99 countries of the world, including the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency – AzerTAj led by its director general A. Aslanov takes part in work of the Congress
On September 23, within the framework of the Moscow meeting of heads of leading news agencies of the world, was held the session of Informsovet of news agencies of the CIS countries. The session adopted a decision on creation of Association of National News Agencies of the states of Commonwealth (АNNA), and also the decision on the order of information interchange between news agencies of Commonwealth and creation of services of ANNA.
As the editor-in-chief of news service of the ITAR-TASS news agency Sergey Karmalito has told to correspondent of AzerTAj, the decision on creation of Association of National News Agencies opens large opportunities to start more active exchange of information between news agencies of the CIS. As he said, it is planned to create up to the end of this year the common information tape where each news agency of the states of Commonwealth can place on the common Internet - site about 10 information every day on the choice. “ It, S. Karmalito has noted, will allow generating joint information product, mutually advantageous for all states of Commonwealth”.
