World Economic Forum in Baku to be landmark event
Baku, March 30 (AZERTAC). As earlier reported, Baku will host the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum) on "Strategic dialogue regarding the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia" on 7-8 April, 2013.
General agreement in this regard was reached on 23 January at a meeting in Davos between President Ilham Aliyev and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab.
The program of World Economic Forum to be held in Baku on April 7-8 was made public.
The Forum on "Strategic dialogue regarding the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia" will create an excellent opportunity to identify opportunities associated with the future of the region.
The forum will mainly discuss the issues related to issues of industry, natural resources, trade, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, finance, telecommunications, etc.
Sessions on different topics will be organized within the forum on “Strategic dialogue regarding the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia”.
The sessions to be held within the Forum, will cover topics of “Energy and natural resources: opportunities, challenges, step forward”, “Entrepreneurship and human capital”, “Finance and long-term investments”, “Trade and transport chain”, “Azerbaijan’s vision: toward new economy”, etc.
