YAP DEPUTY CHAIRMAN MEETS WITH REPRESENTATIVE OF TAJIKISTAN`S RULING PARTY
Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov met with Deputy Chairman of the People`s Democratic Party of Tajikistan Davlatali Davlatzoda at the YAP headquarters in Baku.
Ali Ahmadov thanked Davatzoda for participating in the international conference “Democracy and Stability: new opportunities for cooperation”.
YAP Deputy Chairman said reciprocal visits of both countries` presidents gave an impetus to bilateral relations and strengthened friendly ties.
Davlatzoda said the materials of the conference would be published by the Tajik press. He noted Tajik people highly assess the progress in Azerbaijan achieved thanks to Heydar Aliyev`s strategy.
Davlatzoda told of Tajik ruling party`s involvement in reconstruction work in Tajikistan. According to him, expansion of ties with the YAP will be beneficial both peoples.
Ali Ahmadov said opinion polls showed that President Ilham Aliyev has a very high rating. According to him, Azerbaijan`s accomplishments achieved in recent years, give grounds to say that President Aliyev will gain an emphatic victory at the upcoming elections. YAP representative invited Davlatzoda to be an international observer at the election.
