YAP HOLDS BOARD`S MEETING
Involvement of the party in the President Ilham Aliyev-led reforms and rebuilding processes was stressed at the event.
The participants heard the Board`s report concerning the stats on the Youth Union, Women`s Council and financial showings. 36,754 people joined the party in 2007. YAP now has 436,539 members. Youth constituted 38.8% of membership, while women 43.3%.
YAP earned 1,786,182 manats from membership fees of which 594,875 manats were spent on salaries, 116,000 on the international conference “Dialogue of Civilizations: role of political parties”, 114,000 manats on the YAP 15th anniversary events, 68,000 manats on utilities, 78,342 manats on charities. The rest of it went to financing other events.
YAP paid 54,426 manats in profit tax and 133,333 manats to the State Social Protection Fund.
The meeting adopted the Board`s working plan for 2008 and approved the action plan to mark national Leader Heydar Aliyev`s 85th birthday.
