ASAIF representatives meet Hungarian ambassador
Baku, December 4 (AZERTAC). Representatives of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni International Forum (ASAIF) met with Hungarian envoy in Azerbaijan Jolt Chutor.
The meeting was attended by ASAIF Secretary General Vusal Gurbanov and secretary for international relations Aynur Mammadova.
The ambassador was informed in brief about the organization and then discussed prospects of further cooperation. In turn, the diplomat noted that he is familiar with the organization noting that he remembers well the ASAIF forum held in Budapest on 5-7 April.
Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the extradition of Ramil Safarov, the ambassador spoke about the similarities in the history of Hungary and Azerbaijan.
Gurbanov expressed gratitude to the ambassador on behalf of Azerbaijani students abroad for the support of the Hungarian people rendered to the people of Azerbaijan.
The meeting underscored the need for further cooperation in the field of education and the importance of enhancing the bilateral exchange of students.
The meeting participants provided information about ASAIF, discussed the prospects of further cooperation with Korea. The main topics of discussion were issues such as the further development of student exchange between Korea and Azerbaijan, a more rational use by Azerbaijani students of the Korean scholarship program, as well as cooperation on the organization of Asian Forum of ASAIF in the future.
